On Saturday 16/01/2010 the National Rehabilitation Centre organized a workshop about Development Centers for all staff at Hilton Abu Dhabi Hotel, as part of the strategic plan which was approved in December. Mr. Saeed Al Mazrouei NRC Chairman stated that after the approval of the strategic plan we will seek for the centre to be one of the most essential centers in the Middle East in treating addiction patients. This workshop comes within the requirements of the strategic plan that aims to assess employees to be able to develop their competencies by providing appropriate training that will qualify them to do their duties as expected from them. His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al Ghaferi highlighted that the workshop will achieve part of the new strategic plan which is evaluating and developing competencies of NRC employees through acknowledging strengths and weaknesses points in addition to concentrating on professionals behavior who are in contact with addiction patients and improving their skills, also developing development programs to raise the efficiency of staff in dealing with patients.
