On Sunday night 1st of November 2009, NRC patients organized a memorial event titled “Night of Loyalty to Zayed the tender” on the occasion of the fifth anniversary for the late His Highness Shiek Zayed UAE Founder on 2nd of November 2004. Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Ghaferi/NRC Director General praised the initiative as it presents the deep loyalty and gratitude of the Emiratis towards UAE Founder, appreciating at the same time the accomplishments of His Highness Shiek Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President in following with confidence the approach of the country’s founder and the unlimited support to the centre from His Highness Shiek Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince/Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the continuous follow up from His Highness Shiek Mansor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy of Prime Minister / Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The night started with reciting the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from Shiek Mubarak Al Hosani, NRC religious preacher who addressed the aromatic fragments of the biography of Sheikh Zayed and his exploits to his people and to Arab and Islamic worlds, he also spoke about the virtue of prayer and encouraging attendees to pray for the Emirates Founder. The night concluded with praying to the late Shiek Zayed to be in roomy heavens and to His Highness Shiek Khalifa with longevity, good health and success and pray for homeland security and stability.
