The National Rehabilitation Centre organized a workshop titled “Advanced Interviewing and Recruitment Skills” on December 20th and 21st at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Departmental Managers, Section Heads and representatives from administration, medical and technical departments participated in this workshop. The workshop aimed to develop the skills of the participants in performing the interviews on the selection and appointment, in order to detect the skills and the abilities of people who are nominated to work at the centre as well as assisting and participating in taking the right decisions that are related to appoint them as employees in the centre. The workshop included a number of essential themes such as: definition and types of interviews, objectives and methods of preparation, kind of questions, mistakes in the interviews and how to avoid asking wrong questions, communication skills in addition to practical exercise on the types and methods of interviewing.

His Excellency Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Ghaferi, NRC Director General said that “ the NRC management is keen on training national workforce through specialized training courses, in order to enhance their career development and developing their skills in line with the center’s future plans and expansions. His Excellency emphasized that the centre is designing and planning training and development plans according to scientific methodology and objectivity to enable them to improve their career performance, and looking forward to achieve functional excellence and efficiency in performance.
