Our Staff:
The NRCL staff consists of highly qualified medical technologists with diverse experiences in various areas of the laboratory.

Services:
Committed to patient care, the NRCL executes routine to highly specialized tests requiring complex techniques and automated analyzers.
In- patient and Out-patients Services:
The laboratory operates on a 24 – hour on-call basis to meet all requests either in routine or emergency cases.
Available laboratory tests

Patient’s reports are kept confidential.

Patient reports and specifics are archived to be easily retrieved.

Reports are dispatched to the wards within clinically acceptable time limits.

Abnormal results are communicated via the telephone by physician In-charge.
Quality Control:
The overall performance of a laboratory is judged by its reliability and precision. NRC Laboratory maintains a documented Internal Quality control (IQC) for each analyzer being used.
Safety Precaution:
The health and safety manual developed by the NRCL acts as a reference for health safety procedures. Following those guidelines diligently at all times renders working at the NRCL a safe experience.
Statistics:
NRCL performs an average of 5000 tests per month for all patients.
Collaboration and Affiliations:
Collaboration between NRCL and other diagnostic bodies in the UAE is maintained in order to cover all possible diagnostic tests.
NRCL participates in the NRC CME, Arab –Lab conferences & workshops, advanced laboratory training programs, regional & international quality control programs and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) aided training.
Prospective Goals
As an integral component of the Center’s objective t achieve excellence, the NRCL is working towards local and regional recognition and accreditation in the field of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. |
