The pharmacy unit at the NRC, in conjunction with the medical team, provides optimum pharmaceutical care for both in patients and out patients through safe and cost-effective use of resources. Comprising the following:

• Preparing and dispensing medications to inpatient and outpatient settings with counseling about dosages, side effects, and contra-indications, as well as interactions coming up with other medical problems, drugs and foods.

• Providing drug information to Healthcare staff and patients.

• Ensure proper storage of medications received from overseas/local pharmaceutical companies.

• The pharmacists are on-call 24 hours for any emergency requests.
