The NRC addresses the following aspects:
Physical Aspect:
The patient undergoes a comprehensive medical check up to detect and diagnose any existing physiological disease(s) and/or complication(s) resulting from alcohol and/or drug abuse. Patients are continuously treated and examined in order to help them overcome the detrimental effects of such substances and to prevent any physiological complications.
Psychological Aspect:
Each patient also undergoes an extensive psychiatric and psychological assessment to diagnose any pre-existing drug or alcohol related psychiatric illness disease(s) and is then provided with the appropriate treatment. In addition to medication, the patient receives individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and spiritual therapy. |
